He also covered potential issues with techniques such as the modified Delphi process where group-think bias can exist and limiting one's focus on a single technology or trend instead of evaluating the benefit of combining them in new and unexpected ways.
I like how augmented reality is growing in everyday devices and applications. For instance an Android phone's camera can look at a location through its camera and overlay information about what is there. designing complex or dangerous devices or practicing complex surgeries are other great examples of useful augmented reality.
I found the cloud tech trend discussion interesting. I imagine a world where any data or application will be available regardless or physical location or connection. Of course this means our current notions and perceptions of privacy are obsolete.
