Nanotechnology and the Delphi Method

The Delphi Method is best suited to nanotechnology futuring research. However, nanotechnology  represents  such a broad field or known and potential applications that one would have to have to select a technology research swim lane and pursue it. Even within research streams such as AI or genetics there is much opportunity for specialization.

Of the two proffered research methods the Delphi Method appears superior  over NGT for several reasons.  Anonymity of collaboration offers some protection against group-think or bullying bias.
Furthermore, expanded research time lines and multiple iteration is ideal for full vetting by busy subject matter experts.

NGT might be adequate for nano in the near horizon. however group think bias is always a risk.
